think i epic failed in trying to get the c4d to cast a shadow on the stock... and vice versa

note: if u wanna try this style, i actually think it's better to use an effect c4d to contrast/brightness the c4d till it becomes a shadow...

Your collab with geon...
Err..
Geon's work has so much explosion in it, removing the focal render off the focus.
And what you did just lacks lighting and the color is not good.

yeah all i remember from doing that one with geon is....

he told me let's do a collab... i send him that, and i said... alright man make it glow.

next thing i know, he made the entire sig glow...

I really don't like your style! sorry for me x.x but I think it's too abstract, too many explosions... argh..
you can't see in the faces of the people from the pictures you've used..
I think it would be much better if you choose a simple way like making some layers just softer and use the hard and soft light
(at photoshop for example)
but with this work you don't have to wait for a grammy Ö.ö

I don't mind. I rather people give me a direct response then a bullsh*t sympathy one, it helps me improve better. Anyhow, been too busy lately, i probably won't do more practice till summer hits again, which by then Geon here will have to refresh my memory... or... I'll just game/work for the whole summer 2009

actually in my freetime I don't make banners I look at photoshop i.e. what effects I can get if I do this and that 
and because I'm a perfectionist I don't really like my work but I know that you can get very very good results on an easy way ^^

so I would try to show you some easy effects in a tutorial if you want
my avatar for example is a simple "setting the last layers into hard light" and "using the masc" to show not everything from the layers above

I'll upload some if I have time for it ^^
want to see some special banner or something? I would make some for you
