Just finished Sun Tzu's The art of war again..... I don't know what it is about that book that brings me back.

I'm reading "The Pit and The Pendulum" by Edgar Allen Poe. Brilliant stuff - once you get your head around the complicated language, you'll appreciate the frighteningly good short stories.
So far I've read three.

The most fascinating so far was "The Descent into Maelstrom," which tells the story of a young fisherman being dragged into a whirlpool - reflecting on his thoughts and fears as he's about to be crushed by the waves.

Last one I finished was Owlflight, by Mercedes Lackey and Larry Dixon... like, 2 days ago. Almost done with another.... I read a lot.

I just re-read Sabriel by Garth Nix.

I'm now onto Lireal the second book in the series.

Yay nostalgia! Got to love revisiting the strange mix of media that made up my childhood.
