:'( To be honest this one absolutely loved :<3 Serius Black and was devastated at his death that she could barely begin reading volume 6. This one is waiting for the movie to come out to make it better to her broken heart. That way, maybe this one can finish six and read seven.

I read the whole series up until Dumbledore died. I was very upset and I put the book down after that chapter and never finished it and although I have the last book I have never read it. I loved the rest of it though.

I have heard rumors that although Rowling will no longer be writing any more Harry Potter books that some one else is trying to buy the rights to continue the series. One of the names mentioned was Steven King, who has written other fantasy novels which include The Eyes of the Dragon and The Dark Tower series. Also according to the Wiki Rowling announced on May 28, 2008 that she was writing a prequel story for English PEN, the writers' association, and the Dyslexia Society. It was written as a charity event and is only about 800 words long. This according to Rowling is only a short story written for these charities and she has no plan on writing a full prequel to the Harry potter series. This short prequel was published on the web in June of 2008.

i love hp series and movies too!in my college it was taught in literature class and that was my fav. class and bcz of that i liked that teacher too!

I just decided earlier this year to pursue a Master's and Doctorate in English Literature, and when I do, I'm going to teach the first Potter and the first Twilight as examples of good and bad writing, how one relies on intellect and the other on emotion, et cetera, et cetera. I might even right my dissertation on how modern literature is shaping the future of literacy. The Potter series is a prime example of engaging lit being written today, drawing young folks back to books.

i would have to agree, i read all the books, when i got to the 7th i was like bitchin till the end and i was like wtf i was hoping harry would die to be honest
