Ok since lots of you guys wanna know how do we make sigs so I have put up a lesson.
My first lesson eva XD

Today I'll discuss about adding borders in your sig to make them look like they are framed XD

Ok heres how to add a border

Version 1
1.Select Whole Canvas(ctrl+A)
2.Use Black foreground
3.Go to Edit>>Stroke then a pop-up window will show up showing the stroke settings
4.Set it to 5px then press ok
5.now use white as forground then do the same thing but now just make it 4px
6.Select Black again as foreground then do the same thing but make it 1px
7.set the layer to overlay and vuala you have a border.

Version 2:The easiest
1.Select the Whole Canvas
2.Use Black Foreground
3.Go to Edit>>Stroke and then make it 5px
4.Go and choose Rectangle Marquee tool
5.Make a rectangle like shape that would help you erase the side parts in-order to leave only the top and bottom stroke or just the left and right stroke.
6.Done XD

Hope this helps ya guys anyway the other guys already know this so they might not be interested XD

I will only be posting 1 lesson once a week XD

This works on Photoshop since I use it but it might work on GIMP in the same way XD

Well theres another way of installing Photshop w/o buying it and not a trail XD though its illegal but I would suggest GIMP since it has some other easy things XD and oh the GIMP has some tools that Photshop doesn't have but Photoshop do have some tools that GIMP doesn't have XD

Lol, for version 2, you can just do this:

1) make a rectangular shape like this :
_______________________________________________
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

at the top of your sig and fill it with black.

2) duplicate it (Ctrl + J )

3) Holding Ctrl down, Click and drag the duplicated layer to the bottom of the sig..

And Voila. you have a widescreen.. It can be done for side borders too..

Version 3:

1. Select Rectangular Marquee Tool.
2. Select "Fixed Size" option in the drop down menu
3. Type in the Dimension of your sig. i.e 500x150
4. Click on Canvas. DO NOT DRAG.
5. Right Click>Stroke>1-2px black or white
6. Your done, fast easy, no new layers or blending options needed.

Well when you drag it down, holding CTRL, the position from side to side is sort of held for you, and the position for the bottom , when you reach it, the program sort of clips on to the bottom ;O for me anyway.

The hard part of that is memorizing how many times did you stop or how many times did the comp hold for ya XD anyway its a good way too if you want a larger border and etc. XD
