This tutorial is for Photoshop only. I may make these same lessons in GIMP if I install it later on.
Text is one of the easiest, yet most important, parts of a sig. I see that a lot of people have been making horrible text, or no text at all. In this tutorial, you will make a sig that is NOT meant to be used, but the important thing is that you learn how to make better text.
Save multiple times during your sig making ALWAYS, just in case Photoshop freezes.
This tutorial will not tell you what I did in steps, but rather different methods used for making text.
Always limit your text to a few words at most, otherwise it will start to cover the whole sig. Make your text small for the same reason. Make it subtle, but noticeable so it doesn't detract interest from the render. Try to put the text in a boring part of the sig to liven it up a little.
To do this the easy but good looking way, you can make a black or white text and lower the opacity to make it blend.
Another easy way is to make the text color a little different than the surrounding sig, but still a color thats in the sig.
One of the best ways is to make a clipping mask with the text rather than a brush or those bars.
MAKE SURE YOU SAVE IT RIGHT NOW AS A .PSD
FOR THE FINAL STEP, LOOK AT SINX'S GFX LESSON NO. 1, or you will be missing an important step.

YAY you are done with my fifth and final tutorial.
~Thank you.
You can PM me to request that I do a tutorial as well.
I would love to see outcomes if any of you do all of my tutorials
