I'd just gone off and played others games like Tales of Pirates and Maple Story... now I'm back with the one I loved at first...

I meant I haven't had crash problems with RebirthRO not I have.
And I haven't gone into ToP in months. I was disappointed with their ship system, I mean for a game that uses the word Pirates should have multiplayer crewed ships with broadsides and boarding actions.

I'm actually in the process of creating my very own private server with rates of 250x/250x/100x
Called Asuna-RO
May not be up but will be shortly haha ^^
I preferably enjoy mid/lower high rates from about 100's-1000's those are the best xD
I've had my RO career..
From being a GM to GenocideRO [Super high rate..Very dull and gets old easily..with donation items overpowered..everything too easy to get]
to Spiritus..which i enjoyed alot..The hero subclass and the way you can pick orc/elf and ect..was awesome
FaithRO was fun and decent too..Was quite fun for a while until we actually decided to add ninja and GS..I must admit with the old regular classes alone..This server was way awesome..now overrun with idiots and power hungry morons..I still love the server and the main people who i used to have a blast with in PVP hah
Even coming from BlackoutRO which was fun..But i hated the community..not much are nice and GM's are corrupt no offence xD those who sit and talk to GM's are usually corrupted at least from what i've seen and heard..

Not to advertise my server but just my opinions
But in the case of my server
I dont mind donations..But as an admin you must think about those who cannot donate..
So you must interpret a way for "Non-Donaters" being able to obtain these donation items but at the same time to not make donation items too overpowered.
But as a private server you must also think of what could be benefitting to a server.
From new classes or changes for classes.
MVP rooms or such [Not for mine ruins the fun of hunting in my opinion]
How often are events and how to not overcorrupt the server with event prizes [I've developed a Ticket system in my case]
How often WOE is.. [3x weekly for mine]
But then you also got to think of what keeps players busy?
What keeps them coming and continuing for more? such as quests or mini games from poring races to gambling to poring ball..All of the above have to be interpretated XD
So Many servers try to come up with their own unique ways..to keep players busy ^^

if u would lower ure rates by at least 125 i would maybe consider about joining but thats still way to high for me to play on....those rates sicken me....-_-

I prefer the low rate servers as when you level, or get that rare item, you feel like you have accomplished something.
The RebirthRO (sorry for the constant plug) low rate is (5/5/3) so seeing a listing like 250/250/100 just seems munchkin to me. Heck their mid rate is 100/100/20 and that felt too quick and easy to me when I tried it.

It's all based on opinion.
As i said I preferably like Midrates/Highrates
Ranging anywhere from 100-1000 rates
Those rates can be fun if well balanced..If not then it ruins the fun.
I've personally never liked low rates simply cuz its too low and slow for me.
I guess I've just never really had the time and effort to put that much work into it haha

Well we have a full GM team..But recently one the GM's just quit..So were always accepting App's
So if we ever do need a GM i always have Applications to refer to ;D

Everybody on this server is wrong. Jynx Online is the best. It has a small community, but soon everything will be custom and un-copyable. They are running on a custom engine. If anybody likes high rate RO servers that bring something new that isn't just Ragnarok, Jynx Online is the right place.

But to downright say were all wrong and that your server is best..

the eathena boards..and i know of a few smaller versions other than those 2 main ones..
But look at it this way..
You may develop it..
But there is no real way to keep all your stuff secret forever..
Someone will see it..
They'll want to create it themselves..
They'll develop and post..
Simple..
I replyed back on a forum on other RO forum boards..
Theres no real way to hide all your GRF files..
Trust me..If someone figured out a way..
There would be a thing about it somewhere and somehow..
