and is it good idea to get it from torrents

but the most important thing to remember is that you probably won't get how that stuff works.....

I use it a lot and I have no idea how it works or how to use the commands

all I know is when I write a message and press enter it pops out

Just follow what Chrono gave you. Follow the instructions carefully and you'll get into the AS irc.

IRC isn't hard to understand. I think I learned most of it within the first couple of days of using it. All of the basic commands - registering, identifying, PMing, and so on - you can probably find out by using the help command.

The Mibbit is pretty straightforward, probably the most simple IRC client available, which makes it good for beginners.

with any irc most users will only need to use the ones you listed. unless your going to operate a channel or own one. that's all you need to learn which is simple.

IRC is pretty simple

I dled mIRC and it's easy to get a hold of it ^^ as Hikari said all u gotta do is check out the HELP command and u can easily get through the basics
