Theme: Fall Vegetation & Nature

This will be a slightly shorter competition due to the fact that it's already November 9th, but the days are as spread out as much as possible.

Entry Rules:

1. Must have at least 25 posts to enter (Member rank).
2. Max sig size: Forum max 500 x 150
3. Time to submit: About 20 days (some might be adjusted depending on certain situations).
4. No late entries. Once the submissions thread is locked, it's locked.
5. The sig must be made within the time period given to enter. No old sigs allowed.
6. The entry can have anything from text to animation (but this doesn't necessarily give you an advantage). If you wish to add your username to it, by all means go ahead. It is encouraged that you do.

• Begins: Today, Nov 9th
• Ends: Tuesday Nov 24th 23:00 GMT-5

Submission Process:

PM your finished product to the thread poster who will then add you to the list of contestants. Submissions will be taken until 10:59pm GMT-5, no late entries will be accepted. Contestants may not wear their entries on their signatures until voting has started.

This thread will be kept closed until voting time. That is all, thank you for participating.

Keep in mind the rules of voting:

I am going to vote for Fletch's sig becuase i like the simplicity in it being one item that signifies nature... sounds fancy but since simple answers don work i guess it has to

The top three I like would have to be Hikari's, Fletch's, and Noon's.

Even though Hikari's is nice made lighting and design, I think it lacks the feel of thanksgiving.

Fletch's is very nice... but it seems very blan. Though it has a leaf in it, it seems to fall short of
feeling. (I hope that came out right.)

I'm going to have to say I vote for Noon, even though its not the nicest. This
signature reminds me most of the fall season, every year after we eat on thanksgiving.
It starts to cool down and the sky just glows. And as for the graphics in the sig it self.
I like the drop shadow added to the girl to give her sort of a "pop" along with her positioning.
The light name is a nice touch, the sig is full of life yet still keeps the mellow feel.

My vote goes to Number 3: Noon

Wing_Zero because his Sig does a good job focusing on the character and giving off the vibe of a fall season. It also has a good choice of characters and manages to feel pleasantly creepy.

If I were to rank all those, this would be its arrangement. Fletch, UpCode, Ice, Hikari, Noon, Smooper, Wing_Zero, LeythonX, Knightfall, Neverarine. I'm not saying that those who are at the lower ranks are the worst gfx ever. They are just like the weaker ones in this set. This ranking is based on my opinion.

But my vote will go for Ice's. It got my attention the most. I didn't rank it as the top but I like it.

Number 4, from Smooper.

I think that's a very nice render, something you don't see everyday. The background affects the entire signature drastically, simply because of the color and the minute details. To me, this is a very nostalgic and perspective image of a simple signature with strong emotions.

I have to go with Fletch. I love the coloring of the maple leaf and the effects and the leaf compliment each other in my opinion.

Okay, well, here goes. All of these (imo) are quite nice, but only one of them can get my vote sadly. Im no graphics artist or anything so dont take my opinions seriously, i might just not know what im talking about at all.
Ice: I really like the sig (mainly for the delicious fox goddess). But im sorry to say it seems to not fit the requirements much. The theme is fall/nature/vegetation and neither of these is really the main focus of the signature at all. Horo is pretty much the main attraction and pulls my attention away from all the nature in the background.
Neverarine: Well its the sky. Thats really all im getting out of it, yeah its nature, but just the sky. Not a real big attention getter.
Noon: I really really like yours. It perfectly fits the theme. Very pretty, a good amount of orange and other fall like colors. A nice nature scene, the sky really gets my attention. The colors fit fall, and the girl on the side isnt a hug attention grabber, she blends in very well. I guess what im trying to say is that the sig overall flows very nicely together.
Smooper: Well i like yours, i really do. But the girl feels kind of off, i guess. The girls really sharp image compared to the rest of the signature jsut doesnt seem right. Other than that its pretty good.
LeythonX: I dont really have anything to say about it, i like it. I like how the leaves around the edges simulate fire (or i assume they do) to match Shana.
Wing_Zero01: Ummm....Well i kind of have the same opinion as i did for Neverarine's. Except you have some trees around the edges and a person i it. Nice pink sky though! And im wondering what it says in the middle of the sky.
Fletch: Well, its a leaf. With a bunch of light around it. Im not seeing much other than that. Jesus/Holy Leaf is what im seeing. Its pretty cool.
Upcode: Its trippy, i can tell it fits the nature category but other than that its just a bit trippy. Balls on slides coming out of a globe, is there some significance to it or is that all it is? Its cool though, looks really well made.
Knightfall: I like everything about yours. Youve got fall down and even incorporated a holiday into it (Halloween). I dont know if it was intentional or not but its pretty awesome. The Plants vs Zombies character and quote "We're Coming" gives it a light and humorous atmosphere. Nothing in there is really overpowering, the text is a bit but it evens out with all the leaves to the left. The sunflower is a bit large though.
Hikari: Its not great, but i dont really have any problems with it. I mean it doesnt really fit the theme all that much imo. Thats about it.
Okay well now that ive said all that i think ive narrowed it down for a choice between Noon and Knight. I think im going to go with Knight, his humorous atmosphere gives him the edge over Noons.
