Vampire Knight + Guilty

First post so go easy on me x3

So , the other day on a whim I downloaded all of Vampire Knight and Vampire knight Guilty. This anime was actually a lot better than I had thought it would be, since I was expecting the normal love triangle with all the usual cliches and characters that most animes use in a romance - type anime. Although it does follow some of those, it actually also brings in a much darker side as well as some great fighting scenes and original characters

The style (although not at all the same plot or characters or anything like that... ) ALMOST reminds me of Full Metal Alchemist and its ability to stay funny and interesting while also having those scenes that were so dark and heartbreaking.

I guess it's a pretty popular anime so most people probably watched it wayyyy before I did but it was a really great anime to just pick up and watch because with only 13 animes a series it's not too time consuming and all around very good at showing enough information to make you feel like you know the characters and the plot without being bored with it.

I give it... hm. An 8.5 out of 10, only because of the almost cliffhanger ending and (as far as I know) lack of promise for another series... I would advise watching it if you like a dark and somewhat gory romance that doesn't go on forever

For all of you MALE anime viewers out there. This is a shoujo anime. Furthermore, it is a REVERSE HAREM.
Shoujo anime are aimed at girls. Reverse Harem anime are full of pretty boys and mysterious delinquents who vie for the position of #1 in the main character's heart (or pants at least).

Slap the word vampire in front of every noun up there, throw in some threatening glares and you have Vampire Knight.

Hahahahha yeaaaaaaaaaaaa I agree with you on what you said haha but I tried not too be too specific about those kinds of things, figure different people like different stuff ... bleh haha

lol, good! oh, wait, we're getting off topic (like always)..... Vampire Knight, yeah uhm.... I've seen like 2 episodes of it.... and felt that it was time to move on to another anime...

I'm not saying that no one likes Vampire Knight. It's an incredibly popular series (among female viewers).

I feel that reverse harem is strange personally. Something about having a bunch of guys all deeply interested in one girl is... not ideal.

I find the normal harem shows rather annoying as well (I always seem to root for the loser -_-).

Heh, honestly I look at them and think *Oh god am I really watching this?* in some cases...

And all my guy friends mock me for em, guess it's just a cruel pleasure to watch people losing? ahahaha!!! I don't even know ! I liked it and think it's good for its genre, if you like that kinda thing

at least brings a bit more into itself than just following all the normal cliches... kind of... haha

I disliked this anime quite a bit. I usually like shoujos, however I did not like the art style or the romance progression in this anime. Not to mention it is about vampires... ugh...
It was rather disappointing. 2/5

Hmm

.... After talking with someone about it...I kind of have to move my own grade for this anime down by 1 or 2 point just for the fact that the two who end up loving each other are A) Brother and Sister ... B) Cousins (Parents are also brother and sister)........... C) Since they were kind of betrothed at a super young age they BOTH cheated on the other. xD Kind of a lame point, but... meh. lol

Silly enough I forgot about those little facts...and I am sure some people wouldn't mind that but having a brother of my own that just ... icky

. hahah!

Pretty lame I am marking down my OWN REVIEW. I guess 1 in the morning anime chats can really shine light on a subject
