Well the second season is now done and I have to say that I'm extremely disappointed. While we did get to see some more of Horo's teasing and plenty of Lawrence's inane merchant schemes there was very little development between the two characters until the final episode. The final episode itself was probably the largest let down of the entire season to boot. Aside from a guest appearance by Rena's hack-blade there was nothing amusing about it.

Lawrence's whole "I love you" scene was lame as hell. If I was Horo I don't think I would have accepted such a pathetic attempt at a confession.

The ending was left wide open naturally to make way for a season 3. Hopefully they'll manage to make me care about this couple again next season. Right now I want Lawrence to toss Horo back into the slave trade and go jump off a cliff.
