[Albedo]

This show was 26 episodes long and was about the California mafia and their elite assassins, Ein and Zwei.

Plot: One day a young man woke up in a broken down warehouse not knowing who he was or where he was. Immediately a young woman wearing a mask begins to pursue him, firing bullets at his back. He confronts the woman and just barely manages to over power her. The young man learns that this was a test and that now he will be known as Zwei. Without knowing his past or having a reason to escape Zwei works for the mafia alongside Ein. What will become of him and who is Ein?

Characters:
The main protagonist is a decent character in the first part of the anime. He's pretty bad-*** and acts logically.
Ein, the female lead, is a stoic character that fits the usual kuudere stereotype. None the less I appreciate a good kuudere.
The other characters fill out the roster well. The obligatory loli is a little annoying but this is one of the few anime I've seen where the loli actually grows up!

Sound: an OP and ED by Ali Project. got to love those girls.

Art: The art is well drawn but they use some crappy CG during certain scenes. nothing too terrible though.

Overall: I enjoyed the first half of the show immensely. Once the loli showed up things started to go down hill however. There are several times that a character was "killed" only to miraculously reappear later. This happened often enough that I had to question whether ANYONE was actually dead or not. That said, many people did in fact go down and stay down. I suggest anyone who enjoys Action/romance watch this title. If you like Kuudere characters then this is a must see as well. The story for the first half is interesting and amusing. The second half stays decent enough to watch but it can't hold up a candle to the potential the first ten episodes showed.
