I saw a while ago...I really like it...but... the ending ummm not too bad, just wished that the ending was different...

When Gilgamesh is introduced, and Saber remembers him from the last War, it feels like "Can Servants live over from the last war?" "Um, well, they have to, so let's tell the audience that they can."

Everyone works so hard to defeat Ilya's servant, Hercules, and Rin blows his head off. "Oops, no, he has to be killed seven times." Wait, what? Since when did they have multiple lives? I guess it's now a law of the universe that Servants can require multiple deaths. So then Emiya and Saber use Excaliber to shove a hole in Hercules' belly, "Oh, you have a sword that could kill me seven times, so I'm dead." Does the sword have that kind of power? Well, apparently so.

You know? It just seems like they introduce an important plot point with NO explanation beforehand, and then expect you to simply accept things the way they are, simply because that's the way they are. And they do this the entire way through the series.

Don't get me wrong. It was a great series. But when I was explaining the mechanics of the Holy Grail War to my girlfriend, I had to keep changing my story, because there's a new way something works now. Beautiful story, just don't expect everything to logically fit.

i give this show a 5 out 5 stars. great show.

this show has been on AniBox Channel im not sure if this channel is available in US but w/e. So this is my 3rd run through of the show. GOD I HATE THE ENDING..... ENDING JUST MAKE U ASK YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

meh the end was touching, I really got a bond with the characters so to speak. got my eyes watery O.o

too bad it was a relatively short show =(

there is like a squeal to the show. some will argue its a side story but i think its legit squeal its called Fate/hollow ataraxia (srry its not a show but an visual novel). u guys should check it out. there is rumor they might have another season but not to spoil u guys u just have to play the game ^.^

They do look similar but they are completely different people.

I wish that this show had followed the "Infinite Blade Works" arc of the game. Archer was made to be a villain, just look at his white hair!
