Starcraft was such a good game, makes me sad to see how Blizzard is gonna make SC 2 absolute crap... Why do they have to be greedy... Seriously... Back then, it was all about the people, now, its all about the money and how much you can fork in... If WoW isnt enough of a money grab...

I love Starcraft and i'm looking forward to 2.
Every Starcraft player i've talked to can't wait to play it.
The units look sick!
I reeaaalllyyy wanna see all the zerg units.
If it's p2p then I will be very disappointed.
We wont know it's crap till we play it! =D

Well i can tell itll be crap because as a money grab, Blizzard is going to make the Zerg, Terran, and protoss campaigns in separate CDs you have to buy individually... For the same 50 dollar price...

Seeing as how each campaign will have enough content to justify 3 separate games I don't see what's the big deal.
Quote:
The original StarCraft, according to Pardo, had 32 missions; 12 for the Terrans, and 10 each for the Zerg and the Protoss. According to Blizzard, each of these StarCraft II games will consist of more than 30 missions.
I'll be more than willing to pay for the separate campaigns if it means each have enough content to justify it, also calling it a money grab now is kind of pointless until we see the finished products.
The real issue here would be the multiplayer component, if there are 3 games with the exact same multiplayer and you've bought all 3 then you've payed for the exact same multiplayer component 3 times.
Quote:
We asked whether that meant the multiplayer suite in each game would be exactly the same, and he said, "More than likely, the successive products will add multiplayer content; we haven't decided right now what that is." That brought up the question as to how multiplayer would work if some players only buy the first game while others only buy the second or third games. He said that they haven't made any determinations yet as to how that would work.
Those quotes are from when the 3 games thing was announced though so not really sure what the status on it now is... Anyways I have enough faith in Blizzard (considering their history) that they'll deliver on sc2

Either way, I still find it stupid... Rather than putting it all on a double layer dvd, they have to put it on multiple CDs or DVDs... As every other game company is going, its all seeming lame... There used to be so many games where you would look at them and say, "Hey, i wonna play that." Now theres quite a few games out that are like "... Meh...." The fact that SC 2 will be separated makes me kind of annoyed... And the fact that you cant use any of the races on the CDs except for online play is kinda balls if you ask me...
