Yes RPG is winning lol I'm 1 of those old school Megaman fans XP really liked that challenging trails to get to the boss ^^

for me it has to be strat games because then not everyone could be good at them only a selected few are decent or above my skill lvl...such as i used to rank number 1 in the world for Battle for Middle earth 2 for the 360.... I love RTS games on top of all and mmoRPGs because in those games u gotta think whats good and improve ure style of playing and beat the other people that they wouldnt expect to use!

I used to looooooooove strategy games, like Red Alert, Starcraft, Warcraft and all those
but playing RPG is something else >.<
RPG for me, especially those with good BGMs and gigantic maps to explore!!

Can't blame them though cause rpg is easier to play if you ask me than strategy cause you only have to manage one character in most rpg unlike most strategy where you get to control a whole army or something...

My favourite is Final Fantasy Tactics, genre wise. Simple, and promotes brain function.

RPGs, I do <3 though;

LoZ, Kingdom Hearts, Pokemon... ya know, the other lovelies. LoZ the Windwaker especially.

And then whatever genre Dance Dance Revolution is...that game is genious.

But Tactical RPG, because of Final Fantasy Tactics. THE ONE FOR THE PLAYSTATION 1...
the FFTA...ugh...for GBA... um yeah I have opinions on that...
