You know I don't remember I know that he said that he's never spoken to it so I just figured that it was in it's original form. Plus wasn't his blade the same when he met his vice captain and killed Squad 11's original captain?

Nope thats his Shikai form the blade wont retun to normal and it doesnt like Kenpachi and he doesnt even know his sword's true name

Yeah i forgot, Kenpachi and Ichigo's Zanpakuto's are the only ones that are always in Shikai form.

No... you have to be able to speak to it to know its name to turn it into its
Shikai form. That is his normal katana, ichigo along with a few other captains
keeps his sword in Shikai all the time.

Anyways, its a very good moving... even though it kind of feels like a filler.

Nah i think he was correct, i looked it up and the only shinigami that have there swords in Shikai constantly are Ichigo and Kenpachi.When Ichigo first used Zangetsu he did not know his Zanpaktou's name.

Honestly? 7 out of 10.

I waited on the edge of my seat for months waiting for the 3rd movie to get subbs, but when it did, I was a little disappointed. It had so much potential! It turned out to be a decent movie, nothing more.

It kinda reminded me of the mixed feelings I had after watching the 2nd and 3rd Matrix movies. There were so many possibilities and directions they could have gone with it... but in the end, they both sucked. Plotwise, at least.

All you end up with is a broken plot with mentionable animation. But of course... no one watches Anime for the animation... do they?

And to the guys above me: Ichigo's sword went into Shikai during his training with Urahara, when he learned his Zanpakuto's name. Afterwards, it never turned back into a normal katana.

However, Kenpachi's Zanpakuto is an exception: It's never been fully embodied.

A Zanpakuto's size and shape embodies the personality and power of the wielder. Because Kenpachi's reiatsu is so incredibly massive, he quite literally can't force it into a physical form; hence the jagged sword and inability to use Shikai and Bankai.

As further proof, you need to know your Zanpakuto's name in order to release it, which Kenpachi never bothered to do. Hence, Zaraki Kenpachi's Zanpakuto is NOT in its released form.

it was a great movie

and like nex says Zaraki Kenpachi's Zanpakuto is not in a shikai state he tries to find out his Zanpakuto's name at the end of his and ichigo's fight but fails at that the only thing that keeps his Zanpakuto from shattering is the sheer force of his reiatsu
