What's everybodies favorite anime series and why?

Mine has got to be a split decision between Great Teacher Onizuka and Air Gear. Both are are unique are contain quite a bit of humor.

To all anime that I've seen I like is gundam seed and it second part gundam seed destiny. but I like them is their costumes It really not rocks but it's cool. My all time fav is full metal panic and full metal panic fumoffu? cuz I like sousuke and kaname's tandem in comedy and in romance hehehehehe lolz!

my favourite anime is Yakitate!Japan.Never in my life i laugh like crazy until i watched this anime ;D

As an old timer I have to reach back, way back, to say that even with it's dated art and it's fight of the week mentality Ranma 1/2 will always be my favourite. Main reason being it was my first Anime, that I knew was actually Anime, and will always be the most special in my heart.
It's still the only series I never forget the names of any recurring characters, even years later.

I don't think I have any favorite, there are so many good anime series out there

I loved Trigun and Full Metal Alchemist, but if I had to pick a favorite, I'm going to reach back a few years and claim Robotech. That series was my first anime, and the whole theme of love hit me as I began the lifelong "oh, hey, girls are interesting" part of my existence. ;-)

Have to admit I really like death note, I almost seen all 37 episodes now and I started to watch it yesterday

Mine's coming from the older generation ... got no time for anime after a certain age ><

I watched saint seiya and ranma 1/2 too, they are my favourites, those are cool anime from the older time. Talking about the oldies of course there are Dragon Ball (Z, GT, etc), Sailormoon (don't laugh!) ... lol all of these are like 100+ eps long how could i found so much time to watch them before... ahh miss the old times

These few years I watched Initial D and Fushigi Yuugi. I like those two as well.

While browsing the site i picked up Saiunkoku Monogatari, so I am watching it now just need to find the time to watch 1-2 eps a day.
