Mirc Guide

Hi AnimeSeeders! here is a step by step procedure on how to connect through our Chatroom by using mIRC.

first, download the mIRC client at http://www.mirc.com/get.html

note: the mIRC client i will be using in this guide is for version 6.14. the current client is 6.31 which is essentially the same thing in terms of installation and set up.

once you finished downloading the mIRC client we proceed to its installation (Follow the instruction in the black Dialog box)

ChatZilla Guide

ChatZilla is an addon for Firefox. It's relatively small in size and relatively simple to use.

Visit this link: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/16

You should see:



Click on "Add to Firefox".



Next, wait for countdown to finish, and click "Install Now".



After installation, click "Restart Firefox" (may appear differently for other versions of Firefox). After it restarts, click on "Tools" in the menu and then click "Chatzilla" as shown below.



You should now see the window below. Please click "Chatzilla" on the menu, and select "Preferences".



Within preferences, replace the contents of "Nickname" to whatever you want as your nickname. Then, click okay.



Next, you need to click on the input box on the bottom, and type "/server irc.deltaanime.net" and then press enter. After a barrage of messages, join out channel by typing "/join #animeseed" into the same box.



You are now in our IRC channel! Please ask questions within for further assisstance.
