For the past day or so whenever i switch pages (go from watching anime to the forum) when i get to the forum i will be logged off it happened a few times without even changing pages. Anyone have any ideas on why?

When you log in, there is a "Remember Me" option. If you check that box, it will not log you out as long as you don't clear your private data. If you don't, it will log you off after a certain amount of time of inactivity or whenever you browse away from the forums.

ok i will try that, but it never did it before... and ive left my comp sitting on the forums for quite a while before

Sounds odd, I get logged out for less than 5 minutes of afking though...

I'm not 100% sure what the inactivity time is, but it does happen. I'd say around 5 minutes, give or take a few.

well thats all good and fine but when i had to logg three times in one minute it got a little annoying

Hikari, do you know anyway to change the time to like half an hour?

No, I'm fairly sure that kind of security measure is standard in vBulletin. If anything, only an admin could change it, but I don't think so.

I have to agree that it gets anoying if you keep forgetting to click the "remember me" button (which I usually forget...) And when I don't forget to click it, I usually forget to log off -_-' But that is just me being stupid, the security measure is quite clever when you think about it. Now you are sure that the people who are logged in really are online.
