oh and I was off saying Aztec, friends today corrected me to it being the Mayan calender. And no Zombie will be coming. Demons are already here so no need for a full invasion. Most likely just another natural disaster that will propel us into another Dark Age like environment. A massive flood hitting the majority of a large continent. A massive volcano spewing soot and ash into the air covering most of the planet and blocking out the sun for a year or two (the damage from that was devastating the other times it happened). A massive earthquake causing all sorts of other disasters across the world. An Asteroid crashing into the planet... Hmmm, they all sound familiar. Way too many movies (except there is evidence to support each of those happening in the past at least once before).

in my opinion, the world would not last very long but I hope it lasts at least longer than my life. Resources are being used up and human may just invent something new to survive or perhaps just die and be extinct. Either way the world is dying

"When I was in sixth grade, I went with my family to see a baseball game. I wasn't really interested in baseball, yet when I went there, I was given a shock, since everywhere I looked there were people all around. The people at the opposite of the stadium were as small as a grain of rice, in constant motion. I had thought the whole nation had gathered upon this spot then. So I asked my dad how many people were at the stadium. My dad said as it was full that day, maybe around fifty thousand?
"After the game, the roads were packed with people. Seeing all this, I was stunned. There were so many people here, yet they were only a tiny fraction of the whole nation. I read in geography class that Japan had a population of a hundred million, so I went home and did some math using a calculator, and I found out that fifty thousand was only one out of two thousand of the total population. At that time, I was stunned again. I was only a small part of so many people in the stadium, and this many people were merely one out of two thousand of the whole nation.
"Before that, I had always felt myself to be special. I was happy with my family, and I felt I was with the world's most interesting people in my class. Yet from that time on, I realized things weren't like that. The experiences I had in school that I thought were the happiest things in the world, turned out to exist in every school. For the whole nation, this was nothing special. When I discovered that, the whole world around me lost its color. I brush my teeth and go to sleep, then wake up and have breakfast. You see these things everywhere.
"I found it extremely boring when I realized all these things are all part of a person's ordinary life. I believe that since there's so many people in this world, there has to be someone who's living an extraordinary, exciting life. But why isn't that person me? That's pretty close to what I'm feeling... So I'd rather something catastrophic would happen in 50 years... Pessimistic much?

Stop using the computer. x3 Using computer -> Using electricity -> Requires burning fossil fuels -> Harms the environment.

Hmmmm, global warming will make the sun way stronger eventually, so strong in fact we may have to take up living during the night and sleep during the day; become ''creatures of the night'' hahahahaha now that'd be great for muggers!

Counter to popular movies if the sun were to explode by 2012 we would have seen signs of it starting a minimum of ten years back. And Scientists would of little to no help with the matter. At our current stage of science and technology we could do little more than throw stones at the problem (relatively speaking).
Of course there is always us having started a chain reaction to create a second sun in our solar system. Several years back our little probe we sent out to investigate our solar system had to do an emergency course correction while in the upper atmosphere of Jupiter. This involve the positioning rockets to fire. NASA scientist were worried the rockets might ignite the Gas Giant and create another sun on a smaller scale. So far no new fire ball.
