but to answer your question, i believe code geass season 2 will be coming out in Spring of 2008.

Now back on topic, I watched it not too long ago and really liked it. Really eager to watch the 2nd season

Hmmm, I'm not much of a mecha fan but the way you guys talk about it, you make it sound really good so i think I'll give it a try.
 

what is this anime truely about is it with mecha's or bots or what if so let me know what is the main storyline behind and if its good ill give it a whirl

it is a little bit like death note. a genius kid gets a power then he uses it to try and do something and is known for another name. The battles are very cool. So if u like stuffs like death note or robots you should like it. Ah what the heck! just give it a try. You wouldn't be disappointed

As a production of Sunrise, Code Geass' manga plainly sucks. I downloaded it, and the characters are way too different, I don't even think CLAMP drew for the manga.
About the anime itself, the story is quite awesome, and despite it develops slowly through the, let's say, first 16 episodes, then it becomes very, very active and addictive. The final episode definitely gives out a remarkable cliffhanger, while CC's speech about Lelouch's actions is in fact deep, and quite true. Code Geass gives out a good deal of action, while keeping the mecha battles moderate, which is a common mistake Sunrise has made over some of their Gundam series. On a sidenote, the location of the story in our timeline, Anno Domini, makes us think about how true this could become, something another current anime by Sunrise makes, Gundam 00.

Recently I watched on an imageboard a scan of the Newtype magazine, in which the casting for the second season of CG was shown. The cast will consist of **DON'T READ IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN IT**

every character which came out alive in the last scene of the first season. Yes, we're not losing our Lulu, but neither those maggots called Suzaku and Karen. The cast will also include a new character called "Rolo Lamperouge", which seems to be a clone/younger brother of Lelouch. Lelouch will appearently give out his Zero suit (whose design has been revamped) to another character, in order to live either a)In the shadows (more), or b)As a common civilian. Suzaku's rank has as well been appearently upgraded, since his uniform was reformed to be much more intrincate, and comes with a cape.

I'm looking forward second season, I think it's gonna be (one of) the best season(s) of anime. Ever.

I loved the first season. I just hope when the second season comes out Lelouch will still be the main character.
